Swinton provide a wide range of insurance services including, Motor insurance, Home insurance, Travel insurance, Business insurance, Life insurance and Specialist products such as cover for classic cars and motor bikes.
MBA was appointed a strategic business partner to Swinton Insurance, helping to recruit across it's UK operations, in the 450+ strong branch network as far north as Aberdeen and as far south as Poole in Dorset, as well as within their 3 UK call centres. The key business driver was, over an 18 month period to resource the volume recruitment needs across all it's operations, as well as help build an internal recruitment strategy for handover in 2009
This has been achieved through a fast paced yet detailed screening and assessment programme coupled with an agressive online job advertising programme across the UK, leading to considerable cost savings and solid foundations for continued high quality candidate attraction.
Scope
To support UK regional branch network of 450+branches with over 2000 staff; 3 UK call centres and Head Office senior management and executive recruitment. Additionally to specifically reduce the total real time net recruitment needs across the network from 350 live jobs. Due to the attrition rates at the time and the slow call to action of agencies, Swinton maintained a live vacancy list in the network of over 300 roles in addition to call centre BAU requirement of 30 hires minimum a month.
