With a relatively small and transactional HR team it was their initial contention that to deliver the demanding headcount requirements placed on them by their parent company, “they should double the PSL in order to double their headcount”. Whilst keen to engage with the client, MBA understood that the extent of their growth plans required a strategic partner rather than a panel of contingent agency suppliers.  In November 2013 MBA won a formal I.T.T. to provide an RPO solution and an appropriate EVP strategy to position our client as the employer of choice within North Wales.


As a result of the ongoing success of our client and its partnership with MBA, the US parent company extended their UK business responsibility and position within the wider group’s development plans. As a result the initial resourcing plans scope grew considerably to deliver between 300 and 400 FTE per annum, taking total FTE to circa 900.

MBA have also implemented a technology solution that includes ATS,  careers microsite and a white labelled testing environment through MBActive. In addition we have jointly implemented a wide ranging  EVP plan to support the wider group plans.

We initially used MBA on an informal basis whilst proving the concept of RPO with great success. However, having now entered into a formal partnership, the benefits we are seeing as an organisation are nothing short of phenomenal. As we continue to grow, so has our partnership with MBA. We have been supported strategically by Matt and his management team and tactically the delivery has been perfectly executed. We are developing a strong employment brand in the marketplace and look forward to where else we can take this journey in the next few years alongside MBA.
