On Thursday 27th November, senior global talent leaders from twenty of the UK’s most esteemed companies joined forces at HSBC’s private dining suite at Canada Square, Canary Wharf to discuss diversity, inclusion and talent strategy. MBA was proud to sponsor the event, which attracted leaders from Tesco, Canon, HSBC and UBS, who shared their thoughts and visions with resourcing businesses operating across a range of sectors. The interactive discussions proved very insightful for all involved.
Commenting on the successful evening, James Cadwaladr, Head of RPO at MBA said, “Assembling twenty of the talent industry’s principal thought leaders in an intimate, open table discussion forum provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone in attendance to gain a broader outlook on the sector’s best practices and upcoming trends. Being able to share ideas about several of the key challenges the industry will face in 2015 was particularly beneficial.”
The event also demonstrated MBA’s growing influence on the industry, as James elaborated, “Having spoken at length with the guests, it is evident that the need for a flexible, tactical and direct sourcing RPO model is rapidly growing to enhance the internal recruitment function rather than replace it. MBA’s comprehensive RPO service offering fulfils this exact requirement and we are looking forward to extending our partnership network throughout 2015 and beyond.”
